Rifleman Pub in Nantwich to hold family fun day

A pub in Nantwich is to stage a family fun day to help raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice.

Staff and customers at The Rifleman pub on James Hall Street are planning the event for August 10.

And they are looking for volunteers to run stalls selling toys, gifts and jewellery, and to get involved in the day.

Pub manager Neil Shaw said: “Or just bring the kids along as I’m sure by August 10 they’ll be ready for a day out!

“We have a design a cupcake competition, sponsored by Top Tier Designs.

“There’s a treasure hunt, live bands, loom band making, a bouncy castle and loads more.”

People can get involved in the fun day by following the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RiflemanPub

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
