HIghfields in Nantwich

A Nantwich primary school is to stage its summer fayre and 40th birthday celebrations this weekend.

Highfields Community Primary, on Cumberland Avenue, will hold the event on Saturday July 5, from 2pm to 6pm.

There will be live music, face painting, balloon modelling, welly wanging, tombola, circus skills workshops, a barbecue provided by Grants Butchers and more.

Past and present members of staff, governors and pupils are all invited to join in the celebration.

They will be able to look around the school and see how it has changed and possibly find a photo of themselves on a display of photographs of Highfields from 1974 to now.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
