Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson and Mayor of Nantwich Christine Farrall visited Richmond Village Nantwich on National Care Home Open Day.

Both Mr Timpson and Cllr Farrall spent time chatting to residents and finding out what it is like to live in a care home.

They also met staff including care home manager Hilary Minshull and sales and development director Paul Jackson.

Nicola Tooke, Richmond Village advisor, said: “We were delighted that Mr Timpson and the Mayor were able to visit us.

“They have both been very supportive over the past years and the time they spent here was very much appreciated.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
