Hundreds of families are expected at this weekend’s Wistaston Village Fete, which takes place on Saturday June 21.

The fete will begin with a procession which will leave Wistaston Memorial Hall at 1.30pm.

The procession will head to the grounds of St Mary’s Church Rectory on Church Lane, Wistaston, where the opening and crowning of the Rose Queen will take place.

Visitors can watch the crowning ceremony, enjoy a number of performances, and browse numerous stalls.

There will also be more entertainment and a restaurant in the Church Hall.

Admission to the fete is by donation and proceeds go towards other Wistaston village events.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
