Police sent out a stern warning to drug users after a Nantwich man was jailed for four years for supplying class A and B substances.

Daniel Watson, 23, was arrested after officers raided an address on Hillfield Place, Nantwich.

They found a stash of class A and B drugs as well as cash up to value of £4,000.

Watson was sentenced to three years in jail when he appeared in court last week. He was also sentenced to 12 months for a separate offence, sentences to run concurrently.

Inspector Dave Smithers, head of Nantwich Neighbourhood Police Unit, said: “We continue to do all we can to disrupt and dismantle drug use and distribution in our community.

“And this case is a good example to show that people involved in this type of criminality – at every level – will be pursued robustly by police and the courts.

“This sentence is a good indicator as to the seriousness given to being involved in this trade.

“I would ask that any members of the public who have any information about drug misuse of supply in our area, ring 101 or Crimestoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
