Nantwich civic hall comedy stage Very Best in Stand Up

‘The Very Best in Stand Up’ returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on Friday June 6 with the last show of the season.

Compere and host for the evening is Andre Vincent.

Vincent is probably best known for appearing alongside Marcus Brigstocke and Steve Furst in BBC’s “The Late Edition”.

He has been a professional for over 20 years and is one of the most respected performers on the circuit.

And he will be introducing three class acts who are all making their Nantwich debuts.

First up is Geoff Norcott, who has been a headlining act on the UK comedy circuit for several years.

He brings an energetic and enthusiastic persona to major clubs up and down the country and is a regular contributor on Talksport Radio.

James Acaster is man who has taken the comedy world by storm and recently popped up on TV in shows such as Buzzcocks, Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’ One Night Stand.

He has a very original slant on stand-up comedy and embarks on his 2014 theatre tour later in the year.

Hotly tipped as being ‘the next big thing’, many are predicting a bright future for this young talent.

Closing the show is a man whose face has made it onto two Very Best In Stand Up posters in the past few years but has never quite made it due to having to re-arrange the date.

Andy Askins will be at the Civic as the final act for the current 2013-14 season of comedy.

The show takes place on Friday June 6 and tickets are on sale now at £10.

Tickets are available at www.civiccomedy.co.uk and from Nantwich Civic Hall in person or by calling the venue on 01270 628633.

Doors 7.15pm, show 8.15pm.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
