Police hunting a burglar who struck at two addresses in Nantwich have released an image of a man they want to speak to.

This CCTV picture is part of an appeal after two break-ins at addresses on London Road and St Joseph’s Way near Richmond Village, Nantwich.

The break-ins were reported on April 12.

In both cases, the thief had snuck in via an unlocked door and stole personal items and valuables.

Det Sgt Andy McGillan said: “It is vital homeowners do all they can to protect their property and their belongings by ensuring all doors and windows are locked and secure, particularly during the spring and summer months when the temptation to leave windows open increases.

“Install security lighting if possible – do all you can to protect your home against the opportunist burglar.”

If you recognise the man in the CCTV image, you are urged to contact Crewe CID on 101 or you can send details via the Cheshire Police appeals page here.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
