Nantwich residents are warned to be vigilant after two homes were broken in the early hours today (April 12).

The discoveries were made early this morning at addresses on London Road and St Joseph’s Way, in Nantwich.

In both cases, the thief had snuck in through an unlocked door and stole personal items and valuables.

Det Sgt Andy McGillan said: “It is vital that homeowners do all they can to protect their property and their belongings by ensuring all doors and windows are locked and secure, particularly during spring and summer months when the temptation to leave windows open increases.

“Install security lighting if possible – do all you can to protect your home against the opportunist burglar.”

Police are now investigating the two burglaries and believe the same person is responsible for both crimes.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Crewe CID on 101.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
