Aaron Burns, Nantwich Town

Nantwich Town earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw away at Barwell FC.

The Dabbers took an early lead but then had to come from behind late on to secure a point in their Evo-Stik Premier League clash.

Top scorer Aaron Burns (pictured) fired Danny Johnson’s side into the lead on eight minutes.

But the hosts turned it right around in eight minutes before half-time.

First, Daniel Griffiths fired home on 37 minutes to level.

Then on the stroke of half-time, Luke Barlone was too good for Nantwich’s defence to give Barwell the lead going into the break.

Both sides had chances in the second period, but Mat Bailey took his opening well in the 71st minute to level the scores.

The visitors held on for a point which keeps Nantwich in mid-table safety, but with little chance now of making the play-offs.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
