Live comedy comes to Nantwich for the final time in 2013 with another “Very Best in Stand Up” show.
Liverpool comedian Jamie Sutherland will be compering the Nantwich Civic Hall show on Friday December 6.
Jamie has been on the UK comedy circuit for more than 10 years and has enjoyed headline spots in big clubs across the UK and Europe.
The Everton fanatic is also the MC at Goodison Park.
The first act of the night is serving police sergeant Alfie Moore.
This distinctive comedian brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his 18 years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival.
Moore has appeared on ITV’s “Show Me The Funny”, where Jason Manford tipped him for stardom.
Second act is Quincy, who kicked off his comedy career back in 2000 when he made the transition from spinning discs to spinning stories.
Eighteen months later, he was picked up as a finalist in the BBC New Talent Showcase Awards.
Quincy runs his own Comedy Lounge gig in and they’ve become one of hottest shows in town, recently making a move into the West End of London.
And closing the show will be Seymour Mace (pictured), better known for his role alongside Johnny Vegas in BBC TV Show “Ideal”.
He has been reducing audience members to tears for almost 15 years, and headlined in Nantwich two years ago when he took the roof off.
Civic comedy promoters said: “He is one of the most requested acts we’ve been asked to bring back!
“This Geordie comic deals a fantastic hand in naturally funny and silly comedy and is the perfect act to close off The Very Best In Stand Up for 2013.”
