Christmas Day - Nantwich Methodist Church, Hospital Street

The Nantwich Christian Council has issued an appeal for help – to find a Christmas Day chef!

The group is staging its usual Christmas Day lunch at Nantwich Methodist Church, on Hospital Street.

It is designed to offer those who live alone or have no plans, to join others in celebrating on December 25.

Full Christmas dinner is provided as well as entertainment and afternoon tea, and transport can be arranged.

But coordinator Margaret Trott has made a plea to find a kind-hearted cook to help out dish up the meals on the day.

“At the moment we have no chef to organize the cooking of the meal, we would appreciate it if you could help find someone to oversee the cooking,” she said.

“A fee in appreciation will be paid!”

Anyone willing to help or to find out more, contact Margaret on 01270 652040.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
