A Nantwich primary school is to let its facilities out to public groups to help boost school funds.

Millfields Primary School and Nursery, on Marsh Lane, is to offer its school hall, dining hall, classrooms and playing fields and playgrounds for hire.

The school, which was built in 1964, has since been extended and includes an administration area, a support area and an IT resource area completed in 2006.

It also has a purpose-built nursery with its own secure outside play area.

School business manager Claire McAtominey: “The school site is situated in a pleasant residential location close to the canal and open countryside. The site is extensive and offers a rich learning environment.

“We can offer the local community the facilities to run various clubs such as residents groups, dance / fitness classes, football / netball clubs, church groups, scouts, cubs, brownies, girl guides, children’s parties etc.

“We are a fully secure, non-smoking site, with a car park available (including a disabled bay).”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
