Performers have been thrilling audiences across Nantwich over the past week as part of the town’s Words and Music Festival.

Musicians, poets, comedians and writers held a series of live shows at various venues during  the week-long festival.

Duos like the one pictured also set up and entertained customers in outlets such as Costa Coffee, on Church Lane.

It was the 6th Words and Music Festival  took place in Nantwich from October 7 to 13.

The festival featured original music, poetry, literature and theatre performances at Malbank Theatre, Players Theatre, Crown Hotel, Vine Inn and others.

Popular acts included The Magic Numbers, Janice Long, Barry Cryer and Ronnie Golden, Thea Gilmore, Cherry Ghost, John Bramwell and Paper Aeroplanes.
