AJ and Chloe on Britain's Got Talent

Nantwich dance star AJ Pritchard told how it felt “unreal” to reach the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent.

Ex Brine Leas pupil AJ and dance partner Chloe Hewitt were told by judge Alesha Dixon that they had made it through.

It comes after their performances have continued to wow Alesha and fellow judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.

Now the couple have a chance to make the final when they perform in front of a  live ITV audience of millions on Friday (May 31).

AJ told Nantwichnews: “As I heard Alesha say you are through, I grabbed Chloe picked her up and spun her around before I realised how I felt, which was insanely unreal, I genuinely felt ecstatic!

“OMG – the semi- finals of BGT!”

Chloe added: “It was a surreal feeling when Alesha smiled and said you are through. I can remember screaming and smiling and feeling on top of the world!”

AJ, 18, from Burleydam, and Chloe, 17, from Whitchurch, have been away competing at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool in The Open To The World British Championships.

They returned home last night (Sunday May 26) and were straight back into the studio at Pritchard’s Dance & fitness Academy in Burleydam to train and perfect their routine for Friday evening.

But they will be up against 44 other acts performing on live shows throughout this week in a bid to make the final, which takes place on Saturday June 8.

“The reaction to our first audition was extremely good, people contacted us to say how they were impressed,” AJ added.

“Views on You Tube (AJ&Chloe) have hit 660,000 to date so make sure you all watch before Friday May 31 – the date of our live semi final.

“It is so important the public love our performance so that they vote for us.

“Our routine on Friday is very different from our audition, I would sum it up in two words..Dynamic & Powerful!

“Watch it and find out. We want to make Cheshire/Shropshire proud.”

Two acts from each night’s semi-final this week will go through to the live final on Saturday June 8.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
