Wyche Primary School, out of special measures

Vandals piled up a group of wheelie bins and set fire to them near a Nantwich primary school.

Fire crews were called out to tackle the blaze in a bin compound at Wyche County Primary School, on Manor Road.

Crews from Nantwich found five industrial bins well alight within the compound and used two hose reel jets to put out the fire.

Cheshire Police also attended the incident and a spokesman said it is believed that the fire was started deliberately.

The incident happened at around 9pm on Wednesday April 10.

Anyone with any information about this fire is urged to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or Cheshire Police on 101.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
