Chris Bailey, Nantwich Town signing

By Robert Summerscales
Nantwich Town have added three new players to the squad ahead of their league clash with Rushall Olympic.

Left-back Chris Bailey has arrived at the Weaver Stadium from Colne.

Meanwhile Brandon Windsor and Harry Clayton join the Dabbers on a month-long loan from Stockport County and Crewe Alexandra respectively.

Jason Oswell, who signed on a free transfer from Inverness Caledonian Thistle last month, has left the club to become a free agent.

Nantwich director of football Clive Jackson said: “The last few weeks have been frustrating for supporters and all concerned with the club.

“We have unfortunately lost some key players, which has forced us to make changes and, along with a number of postponed matches, we haven’t really been able to put together a consistent side of late.

“However, we are all working really hard to find the right players that will enable us to finish the season strongly and, more importantly, lay a firm foundation for next season.

“Unfortunately, some players haven’t worked out as well as either they or ourselves would have liked, but that’s part and parcel of the game and we are grateful to them all for the contributions they have made.

“Jason Oswell has decided he would like to try to play at a higher level following his release from Inverness.

“While we would have liked to have had the opportunity to work with Jason for the remainder of the season, he has decided his interests of playing in a higher league are best served as a free agent.

“We wish him the best of luck for his future career.

“We envisage there will be more additions and probable changes prior to the weekend’s match at Worksop.

“Once these deals have been completed, Jimmy Quinn and Phil Staley will be working hard with the refreshed squad to achieve the level of consistency and entertaining football we are all striving to see.

“I would like to thank all of our supporters for their patience and continued belief in Nantwich Town.”

Kick off tonight at home to Rushall is 7.45pm. Free car parking.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
