Christmas Lights house on Alton Street, Crewe

Residents across South Cheshire have been lighting up the area with amazing Christmas lights displays.

Nantwichnews contributor Jonathan White took these photos of properties where owners have gone the extra mile to bring festive cheer to their street.

Jonathan said: “I enjoy the Christmas lights in Nantwich and Crewe town centres.

“But I also really enjoy the over-the-top Christmas lights and decorations, including the occasional inflatable decoration, that some local homeowners setup each year.

“Their electricity bills must be sky high! But they never fail to bring a smile to my face.”

Particular high”lights” includes two houses opposite each other in Alton Street, near Queens Park in Crewe, and a 20-ft Christmas tree in the front garden of a house on Jesmond Crescent.

Other favourites include homes on Lear Drive, Westfield Drive and Park Drive, in Wistaston.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
