New shop fittings at Nantwich Museum

The revamped shop at Nantwich Museum has been unveiled to visitors.

Work on renovating the shop was made possible by an Association of Independent Museums’ Sustainability Grant.

Improvements have been made to managing the shop and the installation of new shop fittings.

The Pillory Street venue is an independent charitable trust relying for its income on donations, sponsorship, various grants and commercial activities.

The shop is key to providing the Trustees an income to continue operating the museum.

It stocks cards, games, toys, souvenirs and jewellery.

Also books of local and wider interest including the newly published Nantwich in old photographs, with the remaining stock signed by the authors.

Decorations made by the Museum Craft Group will be on sale in the run up to Christmas.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
