Worleston girls and their Children in Need cake stall

Five schoolgirls from Nantwich raised £125 for Children in Need by running a cake stall outside their local shop!

The enterprising youngsters manned their mini patisserie outside Hulse Grocery & Bakery, on Main Road, Worleston, for 12 hours.

And Megan Alexander, Ruby Basford, Jodie Basford, Niamh Jennings and Freya Jennings, who attend Malbank High School and St Oswald’s Worleston C of E primary school,  successfully sold all their cakes.

The treats, which were provided by Hulse and the girls’ parents, included Cherry Buns, Cup Cakes, Rice Krispy Cakes and Jam Tarts.

It’s the second year running the girls have run a stall for Children in Need and the second time they’ve managed to sell out.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
