Macmillan Cancer World's Biggest Coffee Morning at Richmond Village Nantwich

Richmond Village Nantwich residents helped to raise more than £160 as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Residents and staff joined Macmillan Cancer charity to raise funds to help cancer sufferers and their families.

Home made cakes and coffee was on offer together with stalls full of local crafts.

The tombola stall helped to raise a total of over £160.

Alison Harding, village advisor, said: “We are always delighted to help our friends from Macmillan Cancer as we know that they do some wonderful work plus it is a fantastic excuse to sit down and have a coffee!”

The care home is holding an Open Day on Saturday October 20 for people interested in living at the Village.

All facilities and gardens will be open to visitors, with tours of one and two bedroomed properties.

It runs from 10.30am to 4pm and will include a visit from a mobile farm.
