Wrenbury Art Group exhibition, Nantwich Museum

An exhibition of paintings by Wrenbury Art Group is to be staged at Nantwich Museum.

The “Yes we CAN paint” exhibition of work opens in the Millennium Gallery on Pillory Street on Saturday October 13.

The display, which will be on show until January 5, includes the work of accomplished artists and beginners.

The title “Yes we CAN paint” reflects the fact many members of the group have not practised art since their school days or may not have had the chance or time to try art.

The group was formed over 15 years ago as an art group with a social element.

It meets in Wrenbury each week, aiming to help budding artists achieve their ambitions and enjoys the support of its tutor Lin Jackson.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
