Martin Wallis and Wrenbury Village Hall chairs

A village hall in Nantwich is sitting pretty these days – after buying 100 new chairs!

Wrenbury Village Hall managed to secure a Cheshire East Council community grant to offer users a little more comfort.

Martin Wallis, chairman of the Wrenbury Village Hall Trust, is now hoping more local residents will take their seats at their regular meetings.

Martin said: “We’ve got to the bottom of an earlier problem of discomfort and the hirers can now sit pretty in future!”

The trust’s annual general meeting takes places on Wednesday October 17.

Members of the public are invited to attend from 8pm to hear progress and plans for the future.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
