Colleen Parker's wildlife in inks exhibition

A Cheshire artist has launched her “Wildlife in Inks and Watercolours” exhibition at Nantwich Museum.

Colleen Parker’s work is now on display in the Community Gallery at the Pillory Street venue.

Colleen, a mixed media artist specialising in watercolours and ink, has lived in Cheshire all her life and taken inspiration from the beauty of the Cheshire countryside and the diversity of its wildlife.

The work explores the beautiful, the fragile, the unknown and the feared striving to create stunning and unique images that evoke emotion and feeling within the viewer.

She is a Fine Art graduate whose work has been acclaimed in a number of exhibitions.

The exhibition is due to run until Saturday October 20.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
