Crewe Fire Station open day

Nantwich families will have a burning desire to get down to Crewe Fire Station next week for their open day.

The station will be open to the public on Sunday, September 2 from 12pm until 4pm on Macon Way.

Firefighters will be performing road traffic collision and ladder rescue demonstrations and fire cadets will be showcasing skills they have learned.

There will also be vintage and modern fire engines and a chip pan demo.

For the younger audience there will be colouring competitions, a chance to dress as a firefighter, Go Karts, smoke tents and more.

Event organiser and crew manager Chris Elsom said: “This is a great way for the community to discover more about their local station here in Crewe.

“We would like as many people as possible to come along to the open day, have a great time and leave with some vital safety messages.”

Refreshments will also be available to buy on the day.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
