Nantwich Town v Bala Town, August 2012

Nantwich Town came out 4-3 winners over Bala Town in a pre-season friendly at Weaver Stadium.

The Dabbers fought back well from 3-1 down against the Welsh Premier League team after a sloppy defensive display early on.

And it proved a useful run out for Jimmy Quinn’s men as their final preparations take place before next Saturday’s Evo-Stik Premier League kick-off.

Bala took the lead early on when Mark Connolly fired home in the 14th minute.

The Dabbers levelled from the penalty spot a few minutes later, but the visitors then took control thanks to two goals by Conall Murtagh either side of the break.

This seemed to wake Nantwich from their slumbers and suddenly they began playing the kind of football from earlier pre-season matches.

Nantwich went on to bag three goals in the final 10 minutes to turn the game around.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
