South Cheshire Young Musicians performed a fund-raising concert at Hough Village Hall.

And founder of SCYM David Ketley was master of ceremonies and accompanist for the occasion.

The concert featured solo and duet performances with instruments played including piano, flute, violin, cello, clarinet, guitar and bassoon.

All proceeds will go to SCYM and The Dogs Trust

SCYM was set up by David Ketley in 2006 to give young people a chance to practice and perform before live audiences.

Forthcoming SCYM concerts include Monday October 1 at Crewe Hall, 7.30pm start, includes the trophy presentation by Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson to the winner of the Young Composer of the Year Competition.

On Sunday November 25 they are at Capesthorne Hall from 1.30pm onwards, and on Friday December 7 a Christmas Concert in Hough Village Hall, 7pm.
