A national charity is appealing for  dog walkers to help the elderly and terminally ill in Nantwich.

The Cinnamon Trust helps to provide support for housebound residents and their much-loved pets.

They use volunteers to keep owners and pets together either by walking a dog, fostering pets when the owners need hospital care and even cleaning out a bird cage.

Now the trust has issued an appeal for volunteers in the Aston and Nantwich area  to help with two Labradors.

A spokeswoman said: “We are desperate for volunteers in this area even if you can only offer an hour a week it will improve the dogs’ quality of life so much and give the owner peace of mind.”

If you can help call Sally on 01736 758707, or email [email protected]. Visit www.cinnamon.org.uk for more details.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

I live in Wrenbury and would be able to help out with walking a dog for someone.
