Angela Fearon with Monty Don, RHS Tatton 2012

Reaseheath College student Angela Fearon chats to tv gardening guru Monty Don at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park after scooping a coveted award.

Angela was one of five students who designed and project managed the Nantwich college’s show garden “Nature Squared”.

The garden, sponsored by Trentham Gardens, was awarded a silver gilt medal and will be rebuilt at the popular visitor attraction near Stoke after the show.

The garden was designed to be attractive to both people and to native wildlife.

The students chose plants which encourage beneficial insects and provided habitat areas for different species, all within a modern setting.

The RHS Flower Show Tatton Park opened on Wednesday to RHS members and is open to the general public until Sunday.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
