United Utilities are investigating after thousands of Nantwich homes and businesses suffered water supply problems today (July 4).
Teams of engineers are looking at water pressure problems which have left many with no or poor supplies.
A spokeswoman for United Utilities said: “The problems with supplies in the CW5 area of Nantwich have been reported to us and we are currently investigating the cause.
“We will restore the supplies as soon as possible and apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
Poor water pressure is also believed to be affected the CW6 post case area around Tarporley and surrounding villages.
