Oxfam shop in Nantwich - bird book donation

Oxfam in Nantwich is to stage a  “silent” auction  as part of the nationwide BookFest celebrations.

The charity bookshop on Pepper Street, Nantwich, is  staging the auction for unusual and collectable books.

It started yesterday (July 2) and will end at 12pm on Saturday July 14.

Val Richards, volunteer manager at Oxfam Books and Music Nantwich, said: “As there are no reserves, you can pick up a great bargain.

“So pop into 21 Pepper Street and leave your secret bid as soon as possible!”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
