Nantwich Museum

Youngsters on half-term holiday can join in the Royal fun with special workshops at Nantwich Museum.

The Pillory Street venue will be running a range of activities on June 6 and 7 this week, inspired by the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The activities include making bunting, money boxes and stamps. There will also be “a quiz or two”.

The workshops are drop in between 11am and– 3pm. The cost is £2 per child who must be accompanied.

Large groups are requested to book in advance.

Nantwich Museum has said ‘thank you’ to all those who supported its recent Plant and Book Sale organised by Nantwich Museum Trust.

The sale made just over £200 towards museum funds.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
