A Nantwich farm outlet welcomed more than 3,000 visitors during their “Big Taste” weekend.
Cheerbrook, off Newcastle Road, Stapeley, staged the event to give visitors a taste of the best food and drinks produced locally.
And it proved a sure-fire hit, with thousands packing out the venue over the two days in glorious sunshine.
Cheerbrook spokeswoman Fiona Mahon said: “We had 3,000 visitors and everyone was smiling and having a lovely time.”
One of the most popular stalls was Wrenbury Cider, run by Gill and Paul.
“They were doing a great job with their samples and of course the weather was perfect for cider,” added Fiona.
Other local producers on show included Snugbury’s, who gave out mini cones in aid of a local children’s charity, Sauce Queen based in Madeley, Rodney Densem Wines from Nantwich, Mornflake in Crewe, and Whittingham’s fruit and veg merchant
“We looked after the suppliers with drinks and burgers! They all said they would be delighted to come back next time.”
A record number of 3,500 burgers were also sold during the event, held to celebrate the anniversary of Cheerbrook’s new cafe.
