Nantwich Litter Group has been making a clean sweep of the town’s parks and streets in a bid to tidy up Nantwich for the summer.

A recent “Group Pick” targeted Brookfield Park all the way through to the Morrisons carpark via Waterlode, Station Road and Pillory Street.

Fifteen volunteers made a clean sweep of the area, collecting dozens of bags of rubbish into the bargain.

And volunteers will be out  on Sunday June 3 at 5pm to help clean up the town square following the Jubilee celebrations.

The next “group pick” will take place on Tuesday July 3 and they are looking for more people to get involved.

Anyone willing to help on either June 3 or July 3 or who would like to take part in future activities contact Joyce Webb on 01270 626435 or email [email protected]

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
