Nantwich patients will see changes made to the entrance and waiting area of Leighton Hospital’s Eye Care Centre.
The Eye Care Centre’s reception will be relocated and merged with the waiting area of the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) department.
Matron Delyth Owen said: “Based on patient feedback, we are merging the two receptions and waiting areas together to provide much more comfortable and spacious surroundings in which patients can relax before their appointments.”
As part of the merge, the existing external entrance to the Eye Care Centre will be closed and patients will be redirected to the ENT reception area, which is located off the Main Outpatients Hall.
