Two men charged with the suspected murder of a money lender from Nantwich have appeared in court.

Mark Done, 47, from Nantwich, and Paul Billington, 39, from Rossett, near Wrexham, are charged with the murder of John Iveson.

Mr Iveson, of Nantwich, went missing when he was 36 back in January 2007. Police believe he was killed, although his body has never been found.

Done, of Barbridge, and Billington were due to appear at Chester Crown Court yesterday (February 28).

Pre-trial legal arguments started yesterday and are due to continue today, a court spokesman confirmed.

A 63-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, and a 36-year-old man, from Crewe, were released without charge.
