Nantwich Town boss Jimmy Quinn rolled back the years with a vintage display as two local firms battled it out on the football pitch.
The former Northern Ireland international turned out for Dabbers’ sponsors County Insurance as they took on Kindertons.
County Insurance, which has offices in Crewe and Southport employing 75 people, had never beaten rivals Kindertons and there 200 staff .
So they invited Quinn along to play in third encounter – and helped them to a 3-0 victory.
Quinn, who enjoyed a playing career spanning 18 years, played at West Ham, Blackburn, Swindon Town and Reading.
He was also capped 46 times by Northern Ireland, scoring 12 goals which is one of the highest in their history.
Quinn turned out for County Insurance as centre back and played the full 90 minutes, aided by Mat Bailey, Nantwich Town defender, who works for County.
