Nantwich Town have made a late signing on transfer deadline day – landing veteran Steve Claridge.
But the TV pundit won’t be coming to play at the Weaver Stadium – he’s guest speaker at a special event in April.
The event, “An Evening with Steve Claridge”, will feature the former Leicester City and Portsmouth striker recalling memories of a very colourful career.
Always one to speak his mind, Steve is still pulling on his boots for Gosport Borough whenever his media commitments allow.
Also on the bill on Thursday April 12 is comedian Leslie Gibson, one of the rising stars of the entertainment world who has a growing reputation for his impersonations of famous celebrities.
Tickets, which include a four course meal, are £35 each.
