Nantwich Players have added an extra night to their forthcoming production “The 39 Steps” because of a huge demand for tickets.
The performance will now open on Thursday February 9 at their Love Lane theatre, a day earlier than originally planned.
It follows massive demand for tickets and sell out of all the other nights between February 10 and 18 just a couple of days after they went on sale.
Nantwich Tourist Information Centre has been contacting people placed on a reserve list to alert them to the extra night.
Richard Sadler, of Nantwich Players, said on the group’s Facebook page: “Due to the overwhelming success of ticket sales for this dynamic production, The Nantwich Players are delighted to announce an extra night.
“The play will open on Thursday the 9th of February and tickets are on sale now at Nantwich Tourist Office (01270 537359).”
John Buchan’s play, adapted by Patrick Barlow, will be shown from 7.45pm each evening between February 9 and 18.
