The body of a man found in a hotel lake at Carden Park is thought to be that of missing teenager Haydn Mark Evans.

Police underwater search teams discovered the body at Carden Park Hotel near Broxton earlier today (December 30).

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said the description and clothing of the deceased matches that of the 18-year-old from Mold, who disappeared after a Christmas party at the hotel on December 17.

Police say formal identification has not yet taken place, and that a post mortem is scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday December 31).

“At this stage of the investigation there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances,” added the spokesman.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

  1. We know Carden Park very well, having visited many times over the past 10 years. We are so surprised that it has taken this long for anyone to even consider searching the lake. Our condolences to the family.
