Nantwich folk gave their views on Cheshire Police plans to save money as a county-wide survey gets underway.

Arrol Johnson was among those to use a video booth at a roadshow in Nantwich town square.

The booth allowed residents to give their views on ideas for efficiency savings by Cheshire Police.

The roadshow event has also visited Blakemere Craft Centre in Sandiway during the consultation process organized by Cheshire Police Authority.

Visitors were invited to choose between suggestions for achieving economies while maintaining or improving policing services.

Their feedback will be among views considered when the Cheshire Police budget for the coming financial year is drawn up.

Under cuts imposed by the Coalition Government, savings currently estimated at more than £32million must be made on Police spending in Cheshire by 2014/15.

The roadshow, with the consultation survey will visit other parts of Cheshire, Warrington and Halton during December and January.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
