Jimmy Quinn, Nantwich Town manager

Nantwich Town had to settle for a 1-1 draw against FC United of Manchester in front of more than 750 supporters at the Weaver Stadium.

The hosts were the dominant side for most of the game, and should have sealed all three points before a late FC United equaliser.

The Dabbers took the lead early in the match, thanks to a Sean Cooke penalty.

They had several chances to increase the lead, Everall going closest after rounding the keeper but missing a glaring chance.

And Jimmy Quinn’s side were made to pay by the visitors who are chasing a play-off spot themselves. They equalised with about five minutes to go.

The draw keeps Nantwich in 10th place in the Evo-Stik Premier League, with a trip to face Whitby Town to look forward to this Saturday December 3.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
