Showtime - Crewe Lyceum Theatre, to stage a wedding fayre, and summer events

People flocked into The Lyceum to support the Centenary Celebration Show in aid of the Christie Hospital, writes Claire Faulkner.

Compere Stu Francis led the audience through a wonderful variety show of local talent at last night’s show (November 20).

The Masquerade School of Performing Arts and Celtica danced all evening, local singers Nicci Hicks and Emma Collins sounded fantastic.

The show also celebrated the life of Irene Edwards, a remarkable woman who raised over £150,000 for charity during the last 20 years.  Year after year, Irene organised charity shows.

And her legacy was remembered at The Lyceum on Sunday in fabulous fashion.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
