Crewe and Nantwich residents showed their support for Children in Need by raising £552 at a fun-packed show organised by The Cat radio.

The evening, at Crewe Alexandra’s function room at the Alexandra Stadium, was supported by the Street Dance Academy who wowed the audience with fantastic routines.

Presenters from Nantwich-based community radio The Cat came out in force, providing music and laughter with  mascot Twichy they danced their spots off for a good cause.

Even the King made an appearance, as Jason Dale became Elvis (pictured) and rocked the entire place and made sure that everyone had a good night.

Claire Faulkner, of The Cat, said: “Well done to all those who volunteered their time and gave money for a great charity.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
