South Cheshire’s RedShift Radio will be on air from November 21 for its second 28-day broadcast of the year.

The station, on 87.7FM, will run until December 19 focusing on communities of Crewe, Nantwich and surrounding villages.

More than 50 volunteers and a small team of paid office staff will present shows such as Toddler Talk, Grey Natter, Health & Healing and Charities Today.

They aim to bring in interesting and inspiring guests, cover local news and events, travel and weather.

Schools taking part this term include Brine Leas and Malbank High Schools, and Stapeley Broad Lane and Highfields primaries in Nantwich, and Shavington High School.

Redshift’s Dr Gavin Hammond and Bizzy Lizzy will also be hosting the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Awards on Friday December 2 at Crewe Hall.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
