Fire crews from nantwich tackled a chimney blaze at a house in nearby Acton.
The incident happened at a property on Chester Road at around 2.30pm today (November 9).
When crews arrived they found the chimney fire well alight and had to dismantle a log burner to gain access to the blaze.
Hand appliances were used to extinguish the fire.
No one was injured.
