I’d been warned it would be a late night.

But when the King of Knotty Ash comes to town, what else can you do but dust off your tickle stick and join in the fun.

I wasn’t alone, the Lyceum in Crewe was packed with fans waiting to see the legendary entertainer Ken Dodd.

The 84-year-old comedian was at the Lyceum last night (November 3) with his variety show ‘Happiness’.

Doddy tickled the audience for hours with a constant flow of jokes and songs.

The laughter from his fans filled the theatre. Everyone had a good time and the audience showed their appreciation by giving a well deserved  standing ovation at the end.

If you’re lucky, and have the spare time you can catch Ken Dodd at The Lyceum.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
