A group of friends and relatives (pictured) took part in a walk around Nantwich to raise money for charity.

The group, all from the Wistaston and Willaston areas, completed the Nantwich Riverside Loop walk to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

They included Olive  and Graham Starling, Jill and Dave Bossons, Carol and Brian Hassall, Sue and David Martin, Ann and Terry O’Connor and Tony and Maureen Mason.

The three-mile length of the Nantwich Riverside Loop opened to the public earlier this year and is already proving a big hit.

The group raised £55 for Marie Curie, a charity chosen by Tony and Maureen Mason’s mother for the care she received when she was terminally ill.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
