A South Cheshire man has died after his motorbike left the road and smashed into a lamp-post in Crewe.

Antony Mark Tomkinson, 37, was killed as he rode down Minshull New Road on his blue Yamaha in the early hours of Sunday morning (October 16).

His family paid tribute to him today, saying: “Antony was our life, who gave us two lovely grandchildren Chloe and Jessica who he adored.

“He loved playing football, fishing and repairing cars. He will be missed by his whole family but never forgotten.”

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Cheshire Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information to call 0845 458 0000, quoting incident number 125 of 16 October.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
