Richmond Village Nantwich is celebrating success in The Great North West Care Awards.

Hospitality manager Debbie Mercandelli scooped The Care Home Nutrition and Hydration Award against stiff competition.

Staff were runners up in the Care Employer of the Year category having won the accolade last year.

And Village driver Bryan Burchell was runner up in the Ancillary Worker category at the awards ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at Blackpool Tower.

Debbie will now go on to represent the North West in the National Finals in London.

Lynne Griffin, manager of Richmond Village Nantwich, said: “We are all absolutely delighted Debbie and her team’s hard work and effort have been recognised in this way.”

Paddy Brice, Director of Richmond Villages, added: “This award recognises the dedication and hard work that Debbie and her staff show every single day.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
