Four men accused of falsely imprisoning a teenager at a flat in Nantwich have appeared in court in Liverpool.

The 18-year-old victim alleges he was abducted from Liverpool and held against his will at a property on Cronkinson Oak estate, Nantwich.

Police were called after reports of an assault on the victim who was found with superficial injuries during the incident on July 3.

The four co-accused appeared in person or via prison video-link at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday (October 10).

Peter Maurice Turner, 41, of Cronkinson Oak, Nantwich; Michael Jones, 27, of Colridge Close, Sandbach; William Jones-Hazeldine, 22, of Anfield, Liverpool, are facing charges of blackmail and false imprisonment.

Khalid Katayes, 21, of Toxteth, Liverpool, is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and false imprisonment.

None of the four entered pleas during the hearing. Judge Gerald Clifton adjourned the case until November 21.
